Street Team
A few people will no doubt ask “What is a Street Team?” – so first here’s what we will expect of you to do as part of our street team:
- Promote the Band as often as possible (I know this seems obvious, but there’s never a bad time to plug us!)
- Hand out promotional materials (fliers, stickets etc – sometimes provided by us, sometimes printed off by yourself)
- Mailing Lists (We have mailing list sheets, which you can print off and take down email addresses for the band at our shows, and even at other shows also).
- Online Plugging (Myspace banners/bulletins etc. Forum Plugs, if you are members on other forums etc)
- And More (Whatever you can think of!)
Basically just become part of the team, and help us do things which if we had more hands and bodies we would do ourselves.
Some of you will ask “Why should I?” – well if you are asking that then you’re probably not right for the job. We need people that genuinely love the band, and want to help us out. However in return, where possible we should be able to sort you out with bits of merchandise from time to time, and free entry to shows (where permitted).
If this all sounds good to you, here’s what you need to do:
- Sign Up To the Forum and get a username.
- Go to the appropriate part of the forum entitled “Street Team Applications”
- Leave us your full name, age, area, other favourite bands, how many gigs you attend per year on average and why you think you should be part of the street team.
- Wait for a Private Message from us letting you know whether you’ve made the grade or not – this will open up a “Street Team Only” Forum, which you can chat to other Street Team members, and where any plans will be discussed with the band directly.
- Get to Work!
