Forever Never Announce Covers EP & First String of Tour Dates…

Forever Never have confirmed they will release a covers EP in October to coincide with a headline tour. The tour and EP are to be appropriately entitled “I Can’t Believe it’s Not Metal”. The limited pressing of 1000 copies will only be sold at the bands shows on the headline tour in October/November, so fans wanting to guarantee themselves a copy will have to get down to one of the shows. The 6 tracker also includes a very special guest appearance from none other than Benji Webbe of Skindred, in a very interesting version of Shaggy’s classic “Mr Boombastic”.

The full “I Cant Believe It’s not Metal EP” tracklisting is as follows (not in order):

“Still of The Night” (Whitesnake)
“Who is It?” (Michael Jackson)
“Future Love Paradise” (Seal)
“We Close Our Eyes” (Go West)
“You’re The Voice” (John Farnham)
“Boombastic” (Shaggy) featuring Benji Webbe of Skindred.

It has also been confirmed that “You’re The Voice” is to be the bands choice for it’s next video single, and details of this will be unveiled in due course.

Renny had this to say: “We wanted to do something to keep the momentum going between the self titled album and the 3rd album, and having already recorded Whitesnake and Seal with the last album over 18 months ago, it made sense to record a few more, and make an EP out of it! It was also great to be able to do a track with Benji as he is an absolute legend, and also a good friend after so much gigging and touring over the years! That’s definitely a highlight for us! The whole EP is hopefully going to be a lot of fun for everyone – there’s something there for everyone to enjoy I think!”

Mike Curtis at CDS Studios (Inme, Fei Comodo) who also mixed the self-titled album has been confirmed to mix once again.

The first string of tour dates have also been announced, with a 2nd lot to be added and confirmed in the next few days. Support on all OCTOBER dates also comes from Stoke rockers Sworn to Oath. The first dates announced are:

October 13th – Scarborough Vivaz
October 14th – Sheffield Corporation
October 15th – Leeds Cockpit 3
October 16th – Glasgow Ivory Blacks
October 18th – Aberdeen Tunnels
October 20th – Manchester Academy
October 21st – Derby The Old Bell
October 22nd – Bristol Fleece
October 25th – Exeter Cavern
October 28th – Cardiff Barfly
October 30th – Bucks Uni Alternator Halloween Special

Thanks/Apologies/Hello

Hello boys and girls, this is an update of sorts, and also an apology at being so slack with the updates on this website and also the myspace blog! We’ve been busy bees this year, and it’s fair to say that we have neglected it somewhat so many apologies there!

We have a few thankyou’s to hand out too. The Skindred UK & Euro tour in Feb/March was hugely successful for us, and it was amazing to meet so many new people on the tour, as well as catching up with some of our loyal fans! Thanks to everyone who bought a tee shirt, or sang along, or even said hello – we had a great tour. Also thanks to the Skindred boys for a great time, and all the crew for making the 6 weeks run smoothly. Some of you hopefully caught the live review in Kerrang from the Birmingham show which got a thoroughly deserved 5K’s!

Since then, we’ve been out on the road for a few headline shows, and we just finished a few shows with Fozzy. It was great again to see our supporters out in force! I can tell you all that we are currently planning a headline tour for later in the year, which hopefully EVERYONE will be able to get to with relative ease! More on this when the dates are in. Keep checking back and we’ll let you know in due course.

We also have some news coming up with regards to some releases later in the year – again, we can’t reveal too much about this right this second, but very exciting stuff and we will let you know as soon as we can let you know!

That’s all for now, and I hopefully I will be updating this a lot more regularly – and sooner rather than later with some touring and release news! Thanks to everyone for being awesome so far in 2010! It’s been amazing!  Renny x

END OF 2009 ROUNDUP/KERRANG REVIEW

Sup Peeps,

Apologies for not having a proper update in a while, but as 2009 comes to a close we thought we’d hit you up with just a bit of a general update..

Firstly we want to say a big THANK YOU to all our fans and friends that have shown us some great support as always over 2009 – anyone that has already picked up our self titled 2nd album, anyone who came and saw us at Download, on tour in spring/summer or more recently with Karnivool, Soil or on our November dates. We really can’t thank you enough – and hopefully we will see you all again in 2010 for some more sweaty love.

Check out this weeks Kerrang! , issue number 1291, for an awesome 4K live review of our recent show in Brighton and also cast your eye on www.rocksins.com for an awesome review of our album http://www.rocksins.com/2009/12/forever-never-self-titled-2394/ and keep an eye on that same site for an interview coming soon and also hit up MUEN Magazine for a recent interview with George http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=504952293&blogId=520855315

We’ll be back on the road in the UK with Kittie and It Dies Today in January – dates and ticket links on our profile so hope to see loads of you on that one, make sure you do get down there as early as possible for those shows though as we ARE OPENING. Also we are currently working on more touring February onwards, so keep an eye out for news as we go.

Werd!

Hello you lovely people. Again, an apology for the long silence! We’ve had a few website issues and such, but I think we’re back online.

The merch store is now online at http://forevernevermerch.bigcartel.com – check it out, and bag yourself some FN merch!

Latest news is touring with Kittie, It Dies Today and Malefice in January! Check the tour dates out on the appropriate section and get yourself some tickets! We are on first though so be sure to get there for doors as it’s likely we’re going to be on pretty rapidly after doors open.

3 more show for us in 2009 which has been a fun year for us what with the new album release, Download and some really fun successful headline shows! More stuff planned for 2010, but you’ll have to wait and see what that is when we get it! :P

An Update of Sorts!

Hello you lovely people! Firstly before any news updates, a massive thank you to everyone that came out to see us on the June & July headline shows – and Download Festival! Download was amazing, you guys totally rammed the tent out – the monitor guy told us it was as busy as it was in there all weekend, so thank you for coming to see us! As for the headline shows, again we are truly humbled by your support, and thank you for sticking by us! It seems to be paying off now, some of you might have seen a fwe recent bits in Kerrang, including a 4K live review in the current issue (go get it!) from our Nottingham headliner in July.

On the news front, there has been a hell of a lot of stuff happening behind the scenes in the FN camp over the last month, which will all be getting into motion shortly, and helping us moving forward from the back end ! The FN “team” has grown, and we’re looking forward to a very bright looking rest of 2009 and an exciting 2010.

We are going to be out doing more shows before the year is out, so hopefully everyone will get at least one opportunity to see us before you open Xmas presents. The new video for “Lost Forever” is all completed, and you will see this in due course! No firm date for it’s release just yet, but we will keep you informed! We might give you a sneaky look at some stills soon!

Also lastly website related… There are a few hitches at the moment – and these have been noted, but unfortunately our web guy is away, so we’re having to wait for his return to get it all sorted (the store in particular!).  The good news however is that when the store is finally updated and resuming working order, there will be some new designs, and one EXCLUSIVELY online tee, which you won’t be able to get at shows! Lovely Jubbly.

That’s all for now. You stay classy San Diego.

Renoir x
