Band
Forever Never is a metal band with a difference from Essex, UK. Formed in 2004 from the ashes of established Essex metal bands, Forever Never set out to blend many different musical influences in order to create a sound of their own. Most notable is their experimentation around time signatures and the use of polymetrics. Forever Never write insanely heavy and complex music yet still maintain a very melodic edge. A sound that bridges the gap between ‘underground’ and ‘mainstream’ scenes; a sound that is both beautiful, and brutal.

On March 20 th 2006 through Casket Music/Copro Records, Forever Never unleashed an album to be proud of. 12 tracks of beautifully crafted modern metal that has received great reviews from magazines such as Kerrang! Forever Never have created a fresh sound that breathes new life into the metal genre and 2006 so far has raised them to new platforms. “Aporia” was produced by the legendary Dave Chang (Stampin Ground, Earthtone9, Johnny Truant, and Vacant Stare) at Philia Studios in Henley on Thames , and is a sterling example of his ability.
Right from the beginning Forever Never have not been afraid of touring and have done well over 150 shows in their relatively short time together. Having toured with Stuck Mojo and Panic Cell in Oct 2005, and performing on the main stage at the Damnation Festival in it’s opening year, Forever Never were asked to support Bleed the Sky (Nuclear Blast) on their only UK dates in December. Unfortunately the tour was cancelled, but 2006 started off on a great note with the confirmation of the Fozzy tour, and more high profile shows including a show in March with Caliban of Roadrunner Records. After this, in June FN embarked on their first International tour, touring the Eastern Coast of USA, playing 26 shows in 30 days with Stuck Mojo. The tour was a great success, and upon their return to the UK , having only 6 days rest, they embarked on their first headline tour of the UK for 3 weeks of shows which were greatly received. Since then, a place on the legendary Uxfest lineup main stage, and a spot on the now cancelled main stage of the End of Days festival were sterling examples of the respect they have gained from the metal scene today. And at the end of 2006, FN were voted as 5 th best unsigned act in the UK, by readers of Rock Sound magazine, a sign that people really are starting to listen to the sounds of Forever Never.
Now in 2007, there is work to be done, with more touring planned in the early part of 2007, including tours with Stone Sour and Breed 77. The end of the year, may also see the follow up release to the Essex quintet’s debut release, “Aporia”.
